Welcome Aboard!

Welcome to the new site of the Marine Detachment USNDC Association. This site is dedicated to former Navy, Marine and civilian duty personnel who either worked or where stationed at The Naval Prison, located at The Portsmouth Navy Yard.

Through the efforts of Rocco Valvano, a Marine guard ,( and ghost of the cell block), our first reunion was held in 2007.  We have had a reunion every year since then.  All have been in Portsmouth , with the exception of the 2012 reunion , which was held in Quantico.

As time goes on we will add more pictures and articles . Shortly we hope to have some up grades that will greatly improve our site .
